A week of historical events in balance with current events

Much is being written and spoken about two historical events that occurred this week: the Gettysburg Address by President Lincoln and the assassination of President Kennedy.  Each are being viewed in a variety of contexts, most positively attesting to the legacy of the respective President.

In current events, the sitting President is also being spoken and written about.  Most is far from flattering, but could lay the foundation for this President's legacy.

On balance, the extraordinary words of one man and the tragic, early death of another far exceed the dismal performance of the third.
